Our Big Country organic sugar is made from 100% certified organic sugar cane. It is a first crystallization sugar, which means the cane is harvested, the juice is extracted, any field impurities are removed and it is crystallized. Because it is far less processed than traditional sugars, it retains a natural blonde color and a delicious natural taste.
Organic Cane Syrup (Medium Invert)
Organic Cane Syrup is a liquid invert that provides the manufacturer with an easy-to-handle alternative to granulated sugars. It is naturally inverted and is monitored consistently for high standards. Using Organic Cane Syrup saves the manufacturer time and money by eliminating the need to dissolve granulated sugars.
Organic Powdered Sugar
Our organic powdered sugar is made from 100% certified organic sugar cane. Organic sugar is simply ground down until it becomes a fine, fluffy powder. A touch of organic tapioca is added to prevent clumping. A majority of refined powdered sugars can have an overpowering and almost chalk-like sweetness. We prefer to let the natural flavors shine and our organic powdered sugar does just that - it retains a hint of the cane’s natural molasses essence, giving it a delicate, velvety, and pure rounded flavor.
Organic Whole Cane Sugar
Organic Whole Cane Sugar is made from 100% certified organic sugar cane. It is minimally processed to result in the most natural and delicious cane sweetener available. After the sugar cane is harvested, it is pressed to squeeze out the cane juice. The juice is clarified, filtered and evaporated to remove excess water. The resulting syrup is then crystallized, which is rich with molasses flavor and the vitamins, minerals, and trace elements naturally found in the sugarcane plant.
Organic Brown Sugar
Organic Brown Sugar is a light-colored soft brown sugar with a mild cane molasses flavor. This soft brown sugar provides color, pleasing caramel flavors and increased moisture retention and shelf life for numerous products. We have both Organic Lite Brown and Organic Dark Brown Sugar available.
Organic Coconut Palm Sugar
Organic Coconut Palm Sugar is made of sugary sap from the coconut flower buds dripping after being minimally cut. The sugar is traditionally processed by evaporating the sap. The overall outcome of the sugary sap will appear as a light golden brown color after the granulation process.
Organic Lite Molasses
Organic Lite Molasses is a sweetener with mild flavor and aroma of premium organic molasses. It can be used as a basic ingredient in foods for color, flavor and texture. Organic Lite Molasses is made from certified organic sugar cane that is grown on farms employing sustainable agricultural growing practices.
Organic Blackstrap Molasses
Organic Blackstrap Molasses is made near the end of the sugar process, which is why it’s the most nutritious and full-flavored molasses, rich in nutrients like iron, potassium and calcium. Our molasses is unsulphured and processed under strict organic standards without synthetic chemicals.
Sucanat is a granulated blend of the two sweeteners that typical sugar processing separates – sugar and molasses. Sucanat has a hint of molasses taste and is light brown in color. It has a higher nutritional level and lower sucrose level than traditional refined sugars. Sucanat is a granule, not a crystal, which has functional qualities desired by manufacturers: instantly soluble, free-flowing for efficient handling, homogeneous blending with other ingredients and low moisture content.
Demerara is a golden colored sugar with large crystals and a rich aroma. Because of its sparkling appearance and its crunchy texture, Demerara is a perfect topping on muffins, cookies, cakes and other desserts. Demerara also makes excellent meat glazes. Traditionally, Demerara has been used as a luxury coffee sweetener in Europe – its delicious flavor adds a unique flavor profile to fine coffees.

Xylitol is a naturally-occurring 5-carbon polyol sweetener with half the calories of sugar while keeping the same sweetness of sugar. It is manufactured by Danisco using renewable sources such as birch wood.
Xylitol is the sweetest of all the polyols. It is as sweet as sucrose, has no after-taste, has 40% less calories than sugar and is safe for diabetics. In crystalline applications, it provides a pleasant, natural cooling effect, greater than that of any other polyol. It is the only sweetener to show both passive and active anti-caries effects.
Benefits of Xylitol:
- Unique dental benefits
