Lecithin

June 28, 2017 by

Lecithin

Gillco offers three varieties of lecithin that provide many benefits to an array of applications, giving you options to choose from based on your needs. The most common variety is soy lecithin, which is extracted from soybeans and therefor the best priced option. However, many people are moving toward taking soy out of their products. If that’s the case for you, we have a couple alternatives.

The alternatives to soy are canola and sunflower lecithins. Canola lecithin is derived from rapeseed, while the sunflower lecithin is extracted from sunflower seeds. Each variety has its benefits based on what you’re looking for your application. If you have questions about any of these products, give us a call and we’ll help you determine which product is better for your application and needs.
